What You'll learn in Entrusted!

Module 1: Begin designing your heart and Christ centered doula business with Scripture, an understanding of the Postpartum Doula role, the unique position you can fill for new families and why you operate differently from other professionals.

Module 2: This is the foundation for the work of the Postpartum Doula. Dive into the physiologic changes of the postpartum body, understand the mother-baby dyad from a Biblical lens, the pelvic floor, hormones after birth, normal postpartum bleeding, primitive reflexes and normal neonatal development.

Module 3: Gain practical tools for supporting the new mother after birth. Create a postpartum care plan, learn how to debrief her birth story with trauma informed principles, know what tools and products to use, understand postpartum nutrition and when to refer her to another professional.

Module 4: Caring for and supporting baby is a vital aspect of caring for the new mother. Discover safe sleep, the benefits of babywearing, how to support breastfed or formula fed infants, tips for soothing baby and understanding SIDS.

Module 5: Start your doula business without overwhelm! Learn how to set up your home based doula business, pack your doula bag, marketing strategies, creating your brand, what to charge for your services and so much more. Includes a ready-to-use client intake form and contract.

Module 6: This module dives deeper into topics every Postpartum Doula needs to know. Includes understanding how to support new fathers and siblings, maintaining boundaries, reporting abuse and neglect, helping mothers after cesarean delivery and more.
