Our Statement of Faith
We believe there is one true God who created the heavens and the earth, who is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. He eternally exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1)
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and humanity, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (1 Timothy 2:5)
We believe that God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
We believe that all humanity has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and are in need of salvation through Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23)
We believe by faith in Jesus Christ we receive God’s gift of eternal salvation, are reconciled to God, become God’s children, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. We look forward to Christ’s return, when he shall raise the dead, judge the world, separate the righteous from the wicked, and establish his eternal kingdom. (Ephesians 2:8)
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (Galatians 5:16)
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that the Bible is God’s written Word. Although it was written by humans, it is divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit and it is without error or mistake. By reading the Bible, we can discover how to have a relationship with God that pleases Him. (2 Timothy 3:16)
We accept both Old and New Testaments as inspirational and authoritative in nature.
We believe Jesus Christ is the head of His Church (Ephesians 1:22-23) and that authority for life and doctrine rests in Him. (Hebrews 1:1-14). We believe that the purpose of the Church is to glorify God by building its members up in the faith, by faithful instruction of the word, by fellowship, and by advancing and communicating the gospel to the entire world.
We believe God made people “male and female.” There are only two genders. Men and women are created in the image of God. We believe in using language that upholds and dignifies men and women as God created them. (Genesis 1:27)
We believe life begins at conception.
We believe the Bible contains all necessary truth for our daily lives concerning topics such as: abortion, termination for medical reasons, birth control, pregnancy, birth, the sanctity of life, the worth and value of every human being, the sanctity of marriage, and the blessing of children.
We believe in sharing and extending Biblical truth, grace and the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ through birth education to parents and professionals.
